Microsoft has announced the general availability of spatial annotations in Dynamics 365 Field Service and Microsoft Teams. This feature allows frontline workers to benefit from 3D inking and arrow placement directly in the Teams mobile and desktop apps during calls and meetings. Previously, spatial annotations required a standalone mobile app or a HoloLens 2. Now, frontline workers can collaborate using spatial annotations within the Teams app, simplifying their workflow and eliminating the need to switch between apps. This integration also provides streamlined and secure enablement, with end-to-end encryption and compliance certifications. The standalone Remote Assist app on mobile devices is being deprecated.
