Using Javascript versus Liquid in Power Pages

Microsoft Power Pages is a platform for creating and managing business websites with little to no code. It is part of the Microsoft Power Platform family. When working with Power Pages, users can use Liquid and JavaScript to write custom code and overcome any limitations of the built-in functionality. JavaScript is recommended for tasks that would typically be done with business rules in Dynamics, such as showing/hiding columns, setting column values, and displaying error messages. Liquid is useful for tasks like data manipulation and rendering dynamic content. Both languages offer different features and capabilities, so it's important to choose the right one for each specific use case.
