Microsoft is expanding its AI-first business process offerings with the introduction of autonomous agents. The ability to create autonomous agents with Microsoft Copilot Studio will be available in public preview in November 2024. Additionally, Microsoft Dynamics 365 will have 10 new autonomous agents for sales, service, finance, and supply chain teams. These agents are designed to accelerate time to value and improve operational efficiency and customer experiences. The goal is to move organizations from legacy line of business applications to AI-first business processes. The autonomous agents will help sellers focus on building customer relationships, automate order intake processes, and optimize operations in finance, procurement, and supply chain.
