The Dynamics 365 App for Outlook allows you to synchronize contacts, link meetings and appointments, and track emails against records in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement. But did you know that this feature also exists for model-driven Power Apps built on Microsoft Dataverse? Despite the name, the app can be configured and used with regular model-driven Power Apps. To enable this functionality, you need to configure your Dataverse environment, connect user mailboxes with Exchange Online mailboxes, and install the Dynamics 365 App for Outlook. Once set up, you can track emails and activities in your Power Apps app, and they will appear in the timeline. This feature is a powerful tool for enhancing collaboration and functionality in Power Apps.
