Microsoft Entra ID Security Groups Management
Microsoft renamed Azure Active Directory (AAD) to Microsoft Entra ID in November 2023. This is just a name change and all existing features and capabilities are still available. This article provides a walkthrough of managing team members in Microsoft Entra ID. You can manage teams from the Power Platform Admin Center or the Azure Portal. To create a team in CRM, select the type "Microsoft Entra ID Security Group" and manage the members. The article also explains that when adding members to a team from the Microsoft Entra admin center, it may not reflect in the CRM team instantly until the user accesses the environment. Overall, Microsoft Entra ID allows for easy management of groups, group members, licensing, and security.
