Share the Power Platform Inventory
One of the key requirements for platform governance is visibility, which includes access to inventory and usage telemetry data. In this article, the author discusses different ways to access Power Platform inventory data, such as through the Power Platform Admin Center, the CoE Kit, and Data Export. The need to share this inventory data with relevant stakeholders is also highlighted, and the use of Row-Level Security (RLS) in Power BI is suggested as a way to share the data appropriately. RLS allows the report creator to only share a subset of the data with users by creating roles with filters applied to the tables. The article provides insights on how to create RLS roles and explains the implications of these filters on related tables.
