Using Dataverse low-code plug-ins with Power Pages
Dataverse low-code plug-ins allow you to build server-side business logic specifically for Dataverse. This feature is currently in preview and opens up the opportunity for low-code makers to create plug-ins using PowerFx within a custom app in the Power Apps maker portal. One example use case is email verification on volunteer applications. By creating a multistep form and a low-code plug-in, you can check if an email address already exists in the Contacts table and prompt the user to sign in instead of creating a new account. While low-code plug-ins provide additional functionality to Power Pages websites, there will still be use cases that require more advanced plugins written in C#.
