How to remove contact and customer validation on Cases– Dynamics 365


By default, in Dynamics 365, we can only specify a contact associated with the customer for a case record. If we try to specify a contact that is not associated with the selected customer, we will get an error message. However, if we want to remove this validation, we can do so by changing the environment variable. By setting the value of "msdyn_IncidentShouldValidatePrimaryContact" to 0, we can save the record using an unassociated contact. For more details, you can refer to the provided link.
