Dynamics 365 Business Central: start checking per-tenant extension (PTE) validation events in telemetry
Dynamics 365 Business Central 2023 Wave 2 release adds telemetry to discover if per-tenant extensions (PTE) are not compatible with the next major release or with the current environment. From September 2023, you will have a set of new signals related to discover if you have extensions blocking upgrades to the next major. Similarly, when a user/administrator uploads a per-tenant extension (PTE) to an environment from the Extension Management page, it will be validated against the environment. By monitoring these signals, you can do a cross-customer analysis of breaking PTEs and act accordingly. More details and sample links are available in the monthly newsletter by Kennie.
