Using the Rich Text Editor Control in Power Pages

The Rich Text Editor control in Dynamics 365/Model Driven Apps is a useful addition for content management in Power Pages/portals. It supports basic formatting like headings, lists, and tables. The control can be added to text columns and is well supported in portal forms. However, when displaying content in portal lists, the raw HTML tags are shown. To output HTML content using liquid, the field's output needs to be wrapped in a div with inline styles. Users can format their content using visual tools, but formatting options can be restricted. A CSS snippet can be used to cancel out the default font styles. Configuration JSON can be used to customize the control's options. There is a character limit for HTML tags, and predefined styles are not available.
