The Dataverse Accelerator is an experimental feature from Microsoft that automatically installs in new environments as of October 1st. It focuses on low-code plug-ins, bringing plug-in creation to the realm of citizen developers. Traditionally, creating plug-ins required developer skills, but the Dataverse Accelerator allows for the creation of plug-ins using low-code methods. This article introduces the concept of plug-ins and explains the difference between server-side and client-side logic. Server-side logic is recommended for its ability to be shared across applications and better performance. The article also outlines the objectives of the challenge, which include learning about Dataverse plug-ins and understanding how to use the Dataverse Accelerator.
