Copilot and Power Platform: Highlights from Microsoft Ignite 2023 and What They Mean for You!
Microsoft Ignite 2023 introduced new updates and features for the Power Platform, including Power Apps. One significant update is the rendering of mobile apps natively on devices, improving user experience. Copilot, an AI-enabled tool, now allows users to ask questions about their data with a single click in Dataverse-backed canvas apps. Microsoft also unveiled Copilot Studio, a low-code tool for developers to customize Copilot for Microsoft 365. Microsoft Fabric, an analytics product, consolidates data and offers generative AI experiences. Power Automate now has enhanced Copilot capabilities for desktop flows and orchestration. Copilot has been integrated into Power Pages, and Bing Chat has been rebranded as Copilot. Microsoft also introduced two new custom chips for its cloud infrastructure and unveiled Loop, a collaboration hub. The Security Copilot chatbot combines Sentinel and Defender XDR platforms for improved security management.
