Add a Custom Component (Preview) in the Power Pages Portal

A client wanted a consistent banner design across multiple pages in Power Pages Design Studio, with customizable text displayed over the banner. To solve this, a custom component was created that allows the client to use the same component with different values for multiple pages. The custom component was created using a Web Template with a manifest tag that defines its properties. The manifest properties include type, displayName, description, tables, and params. The params property allows for the creation of parameters with specific properties. The custom component can be added to a web page in the Power Pages Design Studio by selecting it from the available custom components and providing values for the parameters. The custom component offers flexibility and scalability for website design.
