Perform A Delegated Deployment Using A Service Account

A delegated deployment in Power Platform Pipelines is performed by a service account instead of the user who initiates the deployment. This allows the service account to have elevated permissions while preventing the user from making direct changes in the environment. To perform a delegated deployment, a Power Automate flow is created to approve the deployment. The flow is triggered when an action is performed in the Pipelines Extensions solution. The delegated deployment can be enabled for specific deployment stages in the deployment pipeline configuration app. The solution is then deployed using the service account, and the results can be reviewed in the deployment stage and the test environment.
