Launch (Self) - Check App permissions in Power Apps

Twitter announced that users now have the ability to launch an application to replace itself. This feature allows for the creation of an app selector, where users can only see and access apps they have permission for. To achieve this, an HTTP Request is used in combination with the Get App Role Assignments as Admin connector in Power Automate. The flow retrieves the app permissions and checks if the user has access to the app. If they do, the app button is displayed; if not, it is hidden. The flow is then called from Power Apps using an HTTP request. The app launcher solution consists of buttons that launch different apps based on the user's permissions. This solution is not perfect and does not account for group permissions, but it demonstrates the possibility of creating a central app repository with selective access.
