Support Parallel Processing for Archive Jobs in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations
Microsoft has introduced a new feature for Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations that supports parallel processing of archive jobs to enhance data management. This functionality allows multiple archive jobs to run simultaneously, significantly reducing the time needed to archive large volumes of transactional data across various legal entities. Previously, archive jobs were processed sequentially, causing delays for businesses with multiple legal entities. The parallel processing feature uses a "Job Criteria Key" to ensure that jobs operating on different data sets can run without any conflict, preventing data overlap. Users can monitor these parallel jobs through an exclusive workspace. Currently available in private preview, this enhancement allows early access and feedback opportunities for users who wish to participate.
