Data duplication is a common issue in database operations, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM. While the platform provides native duplicate detection rules, they may not be sufficient for complex scenarios. Third-party tools like DeDupeD by Inogic offer more robust solutions for detecting, preventing, and merging duplicates across all CRM entities. DeDupeD allows for more than five duplicate matching rules per entity, prevents duplicates during data imports and field modifications, and enables merging of up to ten duplicate records. It also offers bulk duplicate detection and merging capabilities.
