Tip #1461: Big int data type is available in Dataverse
Big int as a separate data type has been available in Dataverse for about two years now. A big int column can be defined in the UI but is only accessible via API, meaning it cannot be used in forms, views, or formula fields. One way to allow updates in the UI is to create a text field and add an automated low-code plug-in on Create and Update. Some use cases for big int include rollups where the int value may overflow, timestamps or total number of postal stamps printed, population calculations, and external record identifiers.
