Learn how to use a generic TypeScript to open custom pages in a model-driven app. Instead of cluttering your app with JavaScripts that only open specific pages, use a generic script with eight different settings to open custom pages in different ways. Follow the steps outlined in Benedikt Bergmann's blog to create the TypeScript, then edit the command bar of the table where you want your new button and choose whether you want it to be available from the grid or from the form. Define eight parameters, including the specific page to open, the title of the page, table and record context, size of dialog, full screen or dialog, and center or side pane. Don't forget to add the custom page to your app.
