Exported Custom Connector, where’s my client secret setting?
This article discusses an issue with custom connectors in the Power Platform. When exporting a solution containing a custom connector, the client secret setting is not included in the exported file, even when using environment variables. This is a bug in the platform, but Microsoft has already deployed a fix in some regions and plans to deploy it to all regions soon. In the meantime, a workaround is to update the custom connector before exporting the solution by pasting the client secret content in the client secret field. Troubleshooting tips are also provided, including checking the exported solution file and being aware of the bug when creating new connections in a target environment.
