Download SharePoint files directly from Power Apps (no flow)
Power Apps can be used to build applications for approval processes that involve files. However, providing the files in a user-friendly way can be challenging. One option is to use the attachments control, but this can result in corrupted files after download. Another option is to use Power Automate flow, but this adds unnecessary complexity. The best way to allow users to download all the files is to use the Download() function in Power Apps. This function can be used to create a download link that calls the SharePoint file download URL. The files can be located in either the list item attachments or a document library. By using a gallery to display the files and adding a label with the Download() function, users can easily download the files.
