Dynamics 365 Business Central: YAML to JSON and JSON to YAML conversion.
The latest AL language extension 14.3 for Dynamics 365 Business Central now supports JSON to YAML and YAML to JSON conversion. JSON is a rigid format ideal for data interchange, while YAML is more human-readable and better suited for configuration files. YAML has advantages in terms of readability, size, flexibility, and comments. The new AL object, JsonObject, has methods to read YAML data from a string or InStream into a JsonObject variable, as well as to serialize and write a JsonObject as YAML to a Text or OutStream object. This addition allows for seamless data exchange between systems or tools that prefer one format over the other.
