Embedding a Dataverse Power Automate Flow Inside Power BI
Power Automate Flows can now be embedded inside Power BI reports, allowing for more functionality within the reports. This feature will be available in April 2024 as part of the Power Platform 2024 wave 1 release plans. To embed a flow, open Power BI desktop and create a new report. Connect to the Power Platform and select the desired tables. Add visuals to the dashboard and then add a new Power Automate visual. Customize the fields in the Power Automate button and create a new Instant cloud flow. Add fields to the flow and save it. Run the flow by selecting the button visual and the desired field. The flow will run and send an email with the values. This feature opens up many possibilities for performing actions within Power BI using Power Automate.
