Using Power Automate to manage Dataverse File/Image Column Types

Microsoft Dataverse has different ways of managing file attachments, including File or Image Column types. However, there are challenges in using Power Automate to automate processes involving these column types. The metadata for files stored in these columns is stored in a related table, which cannot be directly updated using Power Automate. To overcome this, a workaround is to use Power Automate to rename uploaded files. This involves retrieving the filename, downloading the file, setting a custom column parameter, and re-uploading the file with the new name. This workaround allows for efficient renaming or updating of metadata with File and Image type columns in Dataverse using Power Automate.
