Dynamics 365 Business Central: introducing the Azure File Share module
Starting from Dynamics 365 Business Central 23.3 release, a new native Azure File Share AL module is available. This module allows you to read and write files to an Azure File Share instance. It uses the common "Storage Service Authorization" interface for authentication with the storage account. The module includes operational codeunits and a table for handling the files in the storage. Using the module is similar to using the Azure Blob Storage AL module. Azure File Share can be mounted as a drive in your local machine, providing a local drive in sync with the cloud. This is a great addition that enhances file support in SaaS.
