Change trigger without breaking your Power Automate flow

Changing the trigger in a Power Automate flow can break the entire flow and remove dynamic contents. To avoid this, it is recommended to backup the flow in a clipboard or code editor. The references to the trigger are just expressions, so as long as the trigger output has the same properties, most of the references will stay in place. Copy the scope with the flow and save it in a code editor, then remove the trigger and add the new one. Delete the scope without the references and add back the scope from the clipboard or code editor. This method saves time and reduces the risk of missing or forgetting expressions.
