Find Dynamics 365 Data in Outlook using mentions
A new feature in Dynamics 365 allows users to mention a Dynamics 365 record directly from within the Outlook web client. This feature makes it easier to share information about Dynamics 365 records via email, as the link to the record gets embedded into the email and the recipient can click the link directly from within the email message. To enable this feature, system admins need to navigate to the Power Platform Admin Center and enable the "Search for records in Microsoft 365 apps" setting. Users can then mention a Dynamics 365 record by typing "/record name" in the email message. This feature is only available in Outlook on the web and not in the Outlook client.
