Power Platform low-code plugins will replace Dynamics 365 real-time workflows
Low-code plugins in the Power Platform, specifically within Microsoft Dataverse, allow admins to create server-side business logic with minimal or no coding. These plugins are created using the Power Fx expression language and utilize Power Platform connectors for integration. They run on the server, improving performance, security, and consistency across applications. There are two types of low-code plugins: instant and automated. Low-code plugins could potentially replace real-time workflows in Dynamics 365, as they offer real-time execution. Custom plugins, introduced in 2005, may also be phased out in favor of low-code plugins.
