How to combine Power Pages and Business Central


This article discusses how to combine Power Pages and Business Central. Previously, it was possible to get data from Business Central into Dataverse through Virtual Tables, but it didn't work with Power Pages. However, with the release of Business Central 23.1, it is now possible to use Virtual Tables with Power Pages. Virtual tables are tables in Dataverse that act as a look-through to Business Central. The article provides instructions on how to set up virtual tables and how to use them in Power Pages. It also covers the setup process in Business Central and how to create lists and forms in Power Pages. Overall, this integration allows users to create websites based on Power Pages and expose and modify Business Central data.
