Expanded Monthly Channel settings for model-driven apps
Microsoft Power Apps is expanding its Monthly Channel settings for model-driven apps. Users will soon be able to set release channels on the model-driven app or have an admin override for specific users. This feature is rolling out gradually over the next few weeks. Makers will be able to set the App release channel in the App Designer, with options for Auto, Monthly channel, or Semi-annual channel. New model-driven apps will default to the Monthly Channel starting in December, but this can be changed to the Semi-annual channel if desired. Admins can also override the release channel for one or more users. The release channel used by the app will be determined by the app channel, environment channel, or user channel override. Monthly release changes will be published four weeks before they are enabled by default.
