Announcing preview for blocking unmanaged customizations
Microsoft Power Apps has announced the public preview of a new capability to block unmanaged customizations in Microsoft Dataverse environments. This feature allows Power Platform system administrators to prevent unmanaged customizations and import of unmanaged solutions in order to ensure that changes to the environment go through approved application lifecycle management (ALM) processes. The feature can be enabled or disabled in the environment settings and imposes restrictions such as blocking the import of unmanaged solutions and the creation or customization of solution objects. However, certain operations like changing environment variable values or creating and exporting unmanaged solutions are not blocked. The feature cannot be enabled in the default environment.
