Business process flows (BPFs) are a way to track and set the stage for customer journeys. Previously, each record could only have one BPF, but now customers can have multiple BPFs simultaneously. This adds complexity to reporting and management. The current stage of a BPF is stored in a separate table, creating a one-to-many relationship between the base table and the BPF table. To overcome reporting issues, Power Automate can be used to add a column to the base table showing the stage of the process. This can be done by creating a flow and adding a column to the base table. The column can be a choice column with options for each stage or a text column that doesn't require updating when stages change.
