Transition to real time journeys – the time is now 


In September 2023, Microsoft announced that Dynamics 365 Customer Insights and Dynamics 365 Marketing are merging into one offering called Dynamics 365 Customer Insights. This AI-driven solution includes two apps: Customer Insights - Data and Customer Insights - Journeys. The transition from outbound marketing to real-time is also being introduced, with new customer environments only including real-time journeys and event management. Existing customers can add outbound marketing if needed. Microsoft encourages all customers to transition to real-time journeys, which offer advanced capabilities such as near-real-time response, high scale, and generative AI. The transition can be done all at once or gradually, and Microsoft provides resources to help with the process.
