2020 Release Wave 1: Improved Email

In the 2020 Wave 1 release, Microsoft made some changes to the Email functionality in Dynamics 365. One of the changes is easier selection of email templates. Previously, when selecting a template, it would just appear in the email body. Now, in Wave 1, a preview of the email is shown in the right pane as you select a template. This provides a better user experience, especially for those who heavily use templates. Another change is contextual email communication, which allows you to switch between email and the record you are working on. This feature needs to be enabled and provides a detached popup screen where you can interact with the form behind it. Overall, these changes improve the email writing experience in Dynamics 365.
