Low-code is Dead. Long live Vibe Coding!
Vibe Coding is a new concept in software development where AI tools generate code based on prompts from developers. It allows developers to describe what they want to build and let the AI tool do the coding for them. Vibe Coding is being applied to the Power Platform, with examples of using it to integrate Microsoft's Azure AI Foundry to Dataverse using Python. The concept of Vibe Coding raises the question of whether low-code tools are still necessary, as Vibe Coding allows for the creation of pro-code solutions just as easily. However, there are still reasons to use low-code tools, such as built-in security and governance features. Vibe Coding is expected to become more integrated into these tools in the future.
