Dynamics 365 Business Central: Partner Sandbox Environments clarifications
Partner Sandbox Environments for Dynamics 365 Business Central are not additional environments that can be added to a tenant, but rather licenses that can be assigned to users. Creating a new tenant is not necessary to use Partner Sandbox Environment licenses. These licenses can be used in the current Dynamics 365 Business Central tenant by filling in the Tenant ID field with the value of the current tenant. There is no impact on the existing environments, and the new licenses can be assigned to users as usual. It is important to note that Partner Sandbox licenses are meant for use only on the partner's tenant. Team Member licenses and Device licenses are not available for testing with Partner Sandbox Environments.
