Sometimes when running the Power Platform CLI, you may encounter issues. One example is the "pac auth create" command not working and producing an error message. The usual troubleshooting steps like connecting to different orgs, reinstalling the CLI, and clearing app data may not resolve the issue. However, installing the CLI through the dotnet tool instead of the Windows MSI installation can fix the problem. Alternatively, using the Power Platform Tools extension in Visual Studio Code can also work. If there is a bug with a specific version of the CLI, you can install a different version to resolve the issue.
