Dynamics 365 Business Central: transfer environments between Microsoft Entra tenants

Starting today, users can transfer a Dynamics 365 Business Central SaaS tenant to a different tenant without needing to contact Microsoft for support. The new "Environment Transfer" action can be found in the Admin Center. Users can select the environment(s) to be transferred, specify the destination tenant ID, choose a transfer date and time, and confirm the transfer. The transfer must be accepted by an internal administrator in the destination tenant within 8 hours. Data is preserved during the transfer, but user personalizations will be lost and external integrations will need to be reconfigured. The destination tenant must have at least one paid user license and sufficient environment and storage quota available.
