Integrate Field Service bookings with Outlook and Teams 


Microsoft is introducing an Exchange integration feature in Dynamics 365 Field Service that syncs work order bookings with Outlook and Teams calendars. Technicians can see their work assignments, personal appointments, and other work meetings in one place. The integration is a one-way sync from Dynamics 365 to Exchange and has a maximum sync time of 15 minutes. This feature enhances workforce efficiency, reduces scheduling confusion, and supports a seamless workflow. To enable the Exchange integration, organizations must meet certain prerequisites, such as having an Exchange admin role and Dynamics 365 System Admin role. The Exchange integration preview is available starting April 2024 and will be available more broadly in Release wave 2 2025.
