Thoughts on the CoE Starter Kit
The Center of Excellence (CoE) Starter Kit is a set of solutions provided by Microsoft to help admins and CoEs govern the Power Platform in their organization. Some organizations are against using the kit, while others swear by it. The kit includes core components, audit components, and nurture components, among others. It provides a comprehensive view at the tenant level, inspiration for governance processes, and is easily customizable. The kit is free to use, although some components may require additional licensing. To leverage the CoE Starter Kit, it is recommended to use three environments for installation, share the dashboard with relevant stakeholders, find the right frequency for upgrades, and leverage the support on GitHub.
