Overcome disabled PowerApps co-owner sharing with AD group

You may encounter a situation where you want to add an Active Directory (AD) group as a co-owner in PowerApps, but the checkbox is disabled. This is because once you add the application into a Solution, the option to add an AD group as a co-owner is disabled. However, you can use PowerShell to add the AD group as a co-owner. First, install the necessary modules for working with PowerApps. Then, gather the AD group ID, application ID, and Power Platform environment ID. Store these values in variables in the PowerShell script. Finally, use the Set-AdminPowerAppRoleAssignment command to add the AD group as a co-owner. By using PowerShell, you can bypass the disabled checkbox and achieve the desired result.
