Microsoft held its annual partner community conference, Microsoft Inspire, where they announced several updates and changes to their products and services. Dynamics 365 Marketing will be renamed to Dynamics 365 Customer Insights - Journeys, and Dynamics 365 Customer Insights will be renamed to Dynamics 365 Customer Insights - Data. Outbound marketing will no longer be offered as default to new customers, and licensing will be unified under one umbrella. Social Posting will not be a feature in real-time marketing. Existing customers will have time to finish off their journeys/events/social media posts before transitioning to the new offering. Microsoft has created a playbook for a smoother transition from outbound to real-time marketing. More information and updates will be provided in the future.
