Power Apps now allows users to directly call SQL Server stored procedures, eliminating the need for a Power Automate Flow. This feature is currently in preview and available in all regions. It simplifies the development of Power Apps for SQL and improves app performance. To use this feature, enable the preview switch in the app settings and create a new SQL connection. Select the stored procedures you want to access in your app and you can directly use them. This feature provides an additional level of security by allowing the execution of stored procedures but not arbitrary SQL. It also allows binding stored procedures to galleries and tables.
