Intelligent apps: Now created with a plan, optimized with agents, and scaled on a fully managed platform
At Microsoft Ignite 2024, Power Apps announced new features to modernize business applications at scale. These include a plan designer for turning requirements into Power Platform solutions, the ability to generate custom AI agents directly from Power Apps, and the introduction of managed security and operations in Power Platform. These advancements allow organizations to build intelligent applications on a fully managed platform, combining the benefits of purpose-built solutions with the ease of low-code development. These features are entering preview by December 2024 and represent a shift towards AI-powered enterprises building software instead of buying it.
