Using the Coalesce Function In Power Apps
The Coalesce function in Power Apps is a more efficient way to evaluate controls and outputs and return the first non-blank value. It can also be used to set default values if all analyzed outputs are blank. Coalesce is a lesser-known Power Fx function that can streamline Power Apps builds. Instead of using the "Not IsBlank" combination, Coalesce simplifies the logic by allowing you to specify multiple values and returning the first non-blank value. It also allows you to add a custom fallback value if all values are blank.
