Dynamics 365 Business Central: receive notifications when AppSource apps updates are available in a tenant
When you install AppSource apps in Dynamics 365 Business Central, app updates are automatically handled by Microsoft during a major or minor update of the tenant. However, during the lifetime of a minor update, you may need to discover if an AppSource app has available updates in the marketplace. The traditional way to do this is through the Dynamics 365 Business Central Admin Center. However, you can also use a PowerShell script that calls the Admin Center APIs to retrieve the list of available app updates for a given tenant and sends a notification with the details of the updates. The script can be scheduled to run daily.
