Implementing Cloudflare Turnstile for Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys Real-Time Marketing Forms

In a recent project, Cloudflare Turnstile (Invisible) was implemented for a Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys Real-Time Marketing form. This implementation utilizes JavaScript to integrate Cloudflare Turnstile, enhancing user experience by providing an invisible verification mechanism to reduce spam and bot submissions. The process involves two components: a JavaScript code that loads the Turnstile library, requests and stores a token upon form submission, and a Dataverse plugin that validates this token using Cloudflare's SiteVerify API. The solution flow captures a user's journey from form submission to the creation of a lead or contact, ensuring server-side verification to maintain form integrity. To set up, one must create a Cloudflare account, configure the invisible Turnstile widget, store the secret key in a Dataverse environment variable, and update the marketing form with appropriate JavaScript to utilize this verification mechanism effectively.
