Dynamics 365 Field Service announces the new Crew Allocation Tool, which enables the “Morning Shuffle”
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service has introduced a new Crew Allocation Tool to streamline the process of making single-day membership changes to crews. The tool allows users to easily reassign crew members, add new resources, and remove resources from crews. Users can access the tool from the Resources page and select the desired crews. The tool displays the crews and their members for the day, as well as any bookings. Users can drag and drop resources between crews or use the Assign to crew button. The tool also includes an Available Resources Panel for adding resources not already on a crew. Once changes are saved, the tool updates the crews and schedules accordingly. The Crew Allocation Tool aims to improve resource management in Dynamics 365 Field Service.
