Registering a plugin step on any entity and can’t filter by attribute? Pick some entity first

The plugin registration tool in Power Platform may disable the option to filter plugin steps by attribute. However, there is a workaround for this limitation. When adding a step, specify the message (e.g., "Update" or "Create") and choose a table that has the desired column. Configure "filtering by attributes" and then clear the "Primary Entity" field to make it work for any entity. This way, you can have just one plugin execution step in your solution instead of multiple steps for each table.
