Liebherr, a manufacturer of refrigerators and freezers, improved access control to their Dynamics 365/SharePoint documents by implementing Connecting Software solutions. The integration between Dynamics 365 and SharePoint allowed all documents in Dynamics 365 to be visible in SharePoint, but the existing permission scheme in Dynamics 365 was not reflected in SharePoint, posing a security concern. Connecting Software provided a solution that replicated Dynamics 365 permissions to SharePoint and optimized document organization. The implementation led to enhanced security, improved compliance, efficient document management, and a positive user experience. The project was completed in four months, and Liebherr achieved its project goals of enhancing document security and restricting document access.
